Oh my gosh! I have been so excited to share with you all a couples boudoir session I did this year! I have been waiting to show you the sneak peek, but now I can finally reveal it! This was Miss T's third session with me, and their first couples boudoir session together. Miss T and Mr A actually wrote about their experience and can tell it to you in their own words, I loved what they had to say, and I hope you do too!! Miss T: "My experience with Katie Pahara Photography has been nothing but amazing!!! I went in for my very first boudoir shoot in January 2014, I felt very overweight and self conscious. I was awaiting a gastric sleeve surgery and wanted to get before and after photos done as my husband loved me just the way I was and loved my curves so I wanted something he could treasure always. I knew how I felt about myself and felt very self aware that I would not look good on camera, (especially half naked!!!) but I went through with it anyways. Katt Panic did my makeup and hair and made me feel awesome! Like 50's house wife sexy! Then I headed over to Katie's..." (This was back when we had the old studio)
"When I arrived, I felt like I needed to do some shots of tequila but Katie is very professional and will not photograph anyone under the influence, which I applaud, so we started my session. She made it so fun and comfortable I never thought I'd feel that way with another human being but she was so natural and I was able to relax and enjoy the session. I was hooked!..."
"A year later I am down 103 lbs and decided to go for my after photos. Again Katt did my hair and make up and I still can't believe the magic she does!!! She is a true artist. When I win the lottery I am hiring her to do my hair and makeup everyday ;) Katie and I spent a couple hours taking photos and she was amazed at my transformation and confidence, as was I! And what a blessing to have such a great studio here in Lethbridge where you are connected to lots of discounts to other vendors and stores for your experience with Katt and Katie!!!..."
"Today my husband and I were Katt and Katie's first couples shoot. We have been so excited to do this we haven't been able to sleep, and man can Katt cover up bags under the eyes!!! We felt so romantic and young again and the prep for the shoot even spiced up our relationship and communication in ways we never could have imagined. Katie did such an impeccable job of making my husband comfortable he almost forgot there was someone else in the room.

You can't put a price on positive self worth, positive body image, and a positive attitude, and doing a boudoir session, especially a couple's session, will boost all of those!"
Mr. A: "When my wife first mentioned a boudoir shoot to me in 2014 I was both unsure of what to expect and really intrigued at the same time. The day came of the shoot with lots of excitement and nervousness, I remember very well my wife talking about wanting to have a few drinks to relax , which she didn't because Katie's professionalism doesn't allow that. When she returned after the shoot she looked amazing. I have a beautiful wife but the make up and hair were done so incredibly well. Katt Panic accentuated every beautiful detail of my wife's face.
That night we were able to go preview the photos and what an amazing experience, just seeing those photos that made my wife look as beautiful to everyone as she is to me was unreal. We had so much fun looking at them, discussing which were our favorites, and why, and Katie was great and helpful the whole way through. Based on the phenomenal fun we had and how it made my wife feel this is something I would recommend everyone to at least consider doing. I will always cherish the photos from the first shoot because they were done shortly before my wife was having surgery and as hard as it is to admit it there was a nagging fear that they might be some of my last memories of her..."

"Of course all went well and close to a year later and over a hundred pounds less my wife booked her second boudoir shoot. Once again the excitement of taking lunch at work to view the photos was incredible. Getting there and seeing the amazing job Katt Panic had done on her make up and hair and then the pictures absolutely made my day.
Shortly after my wife's second shoot we were given the opportunity to take part in a couples boudoir shoot. I'm a little surprised how quickly I agreed but the idea of taking part in a shoot like this with my wife was too great to pass up. There were three parts that really appealed to me, the first was taking part in something my wife enjoys, the second is being able to have some romantic photos with my wife, and finally it just sounded fun and exciting..."
"We had so much fun picking out lingerie and props for her, and attire for myself getting ready for the shoot. It was very enjoyable seeing what each of us thought would look good on each other and just putting together how we wanted to look in the shoot. The day of the shoot both of us were almost vibrating with excitement. One part I didn't realize that I would enjoy so much was watching the great job Katt Panic did on my wife's make up and hair. As I have mentioned my wife is gorgeous, but she really enjoys getting herself done up and it was so fun watching her excitement as Katt worked her magic! Guys if you have not watched your significant other get ready make sure you do , it is great. Then there was the actual shoot..."
"Katie was so helpful with her vision for creating the scene, choosing outfits and setting up the poses. The connection and intensity that my wife and I felt towards each other was incredible, the whole shoot was so natural and fun. I really felt that Katie was able to work with our strengths and we were able to improv with what felt natural to us. We had so much fun, it wasn't really even posing it was just moving with my wife and enjoying each other, holding each other, playing. Both of us were so excited to view the pictures that Katie may have been pestered a bit about when we could see them. It was worth every minute of waiting when we saw them. Some were sexy, some were romantic, some were fun , some were beautiful. It will definitely be a collection that we both enjoy looking at over and over..." (And hey guys, you only had to wait 1 day to see them! Teehee!)
"Looking back I am a little surprised that I wasn't concerned about the way I look, but there wasn't a moments hesitation because I knew how much I wanted to see how great the two of us would look. I would recommend that anyone should consider a couples boudoir shoot for the fun and the connection that it will create with your significant other. I was a little surprised when Katie told us that she had almost all responses being women saying they would love to but their partners would never do it, seriously guys it's a lot of fun, your partner will love it, we all have different body types but as long as you enjoy being with your significant other it won't matter because you will only see yourselves enjoying each other. Thanks Katie we had so much fun and will definitely look at doing another one!"
